About the Role: We are looking for a Technical Writer to join imper.ai and help translate complex cybersecurity and engineering concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to create and maintain high-quality technical content that supports our SaaS B2B platform. Your work will directly impact product adoption and internal alignment, making you a key part of how we communicate our technology to the world.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep technical understanding, clear storytelling, and working in a fast-paced startup where documentation is treated as a core part of the product.
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation for the product, including user guides, admin guides, API documentation, and internal technical docs.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and security teams to deeply understand the system and its capabilities.
- Translate complex technical and cybersecurity concepts into clear, concise, and structured content for different audiences.
- Own documentation lifecycle end-to-end: planning, writing, reviewing, publishing, and maintaining.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with product changes and releases.
- Contribute to onboarding materials, knowledge bases, and customer-facing technical content.
- Help establish documentation standards, structure, and best practices across the company.
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer for technical products, preferably SaaS B2B.
- Strong ability to understand complex technical systems and explain them clearly.
- Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
- Experience working closely with engineers and product teams.
- Ability to manage multiple documentation projects in parallel.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working in fast-changing environments.
Significant Advantages:
- Background in cybersecurity, cloud, DevOps, or distributed systems.
- Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, or developer-facing products.
- Familiarity with tools for documentation, version control, and collaboration (e.g., Markdown, Git).
